The Blue Board

Once you've been to a USC-ND game in South Bend and in L.A. you'll never stop believing it's a real rivalry.

As a USC grad who's only ever lived in the western U.S. I've known lots of Notre Dame fans. Half of my family is Catholic so I'm related to more than a few ND grads. I can count all of the Alabama and Auburn fans I've ever met in my life on one hand. USC and ND fans are spread out far and wide.

I live in Oregon these days and sometimes I feel like the Ducks/Beavers rivalry is actually tempered by the need to be civil when everybody works with everyone else all the time.
