You are right, they aren't equal. Neither was Oklahoma St winning 5 games over the BCS top 25 while Bama only had 2. Neither was Oklahoma St having won their conference while Bama didn't even win their own division.

I thought OK State should have got in. That was a bullshit move by the BCS. Constant reasons to get rid of this crap system.
No team should play for a national title without being the best in their own conference. Everything else is just perception. If you're not even the best in your conference how can you be considered top 2 in the country? I think OK State would have won the national title last year if they got in. They got jobbed.

You are the one that said LSU would have easily beat Oklahoma St last year like it is some verifiable fact. A&M was in the bottom half of the pack in the Big 12 last year and have come into the SEC and inserted themselves into the upper echelon of the conference. Oklahoma St could have just as easily beat LSU as you are insiuating LSU would have beat them.

Texas isn't a legit win and honestly has no business being in the top 20. Their defense is porous. OU has one ok win and has 2 losses so no. I'd say they're ranked where they need to be ranked. LSU, SCar and A&M all lost to Florida, LSU lost to the defending national champion and A&M and SCar lost to LSU. None of which are bad losses. I do agree however, that LSU and SCar are not top 10 teams. I'm kind of perplexed how they are rated higher than FSU for example, who should be top 7 imho.

OU lost to #1 and #3 who are unbeaten. They beat BCS #15 Texas 63-21 and number #23 Texas Tech 41-20. They have handled the rest of their schedule pretty easily.
Why are LSU, Texas A&M, and especially South Carolina rated higher than OU when they all have 2 loses that are inferior?

Saying in general. don't think OU would put up a lot of points on a SEC defense. Dink and dunk, throw it 45 times a game doesn't do jack against this league. LSU proved it and Florida proved it in national title games. Notre Dame proved it this year.
I'm actually baffled how far away from a defensive standpoint Stoops has fallen. Dude has mediocre defenses every year and it seems as if offense is all he's worried about.

I do agree with Scoot though..
Is Oklahoma being slighted in the BCS?
