Is Percy Harvin an elite WR?

No, he has no 1,000yd seasons on his NFL resume. I do think he could be an Elite WR if he were in a better situation. He cant be the only decent WR on his team and Ponder blows.

Andre Johnson, Julio Jones, AJ Green, Calvin Johnson, La Fitz and even a few others like Boldin are all on a different level imo
Harvin's biggest knock is he isn't dependable

Those guys are better pure wrs, but they're not rushing for tds and returning kicks for tds. He is one of the best football players in the NFL, when his head is screwed on right.
22 of his catches were behind the line of scrimmage, or at the line of scrimmage. The dude still averaged 8.4 yds a catch on those.

Agreed, I like Harvin
His attitude is what hurts him, outside of that he is a special talent but he defines that 757 problem child to a T
Him, Iverson, Vick, LT, they all have that same tidewater disease running through their blood

Not a chance in hell iyam, maybe in the mid 90's when Bowden was still alive and alert

When you are winning national titles and you have a distraction like Tebow it helps
UF knew what he was as did Meyer, and they clearly tried to keep him and his actions out of the media as much as possible cause I remember the Harvin years well and he never got the amount of air time he deserved iyam ( the good and the bad )

I mean, in the NFL, players go off on coaches all the time.

Yeah, Percy beat up Billy Gonzales and cussed Meyer out when Urb tried to make him run stadiums. We had a shitload of goons on that '08 team.
