    I'm not a fan, but he certainly did an about face regarding USC, after reading the NCAA report. He was the first of many to go after Dee and his hypocrisy (before the recent Miami scandal), so..don't like the guy, but don't hate him either. lol

  • The guy was on Finebaum's show all the time when he was "reporting" about Ohio State's problems. Once Brooks started writing about Alabama Finebaum never had him on again.

    Brooks is a complete scumbag but I respect him more than a guy like Paul Finebaum.

    Other than Stanford and Vanderbilt, almost every program in the country have had their "issues"...your university has had them in the past. I remember.

    what, exactly, do you remember? texas is about as clean as they come, especially in recent history, and especially in regards to recruiting, which is the big one for me. certainly can't say there hasn't been some shadiness in usc's recruiting - i'm thinking of joe mckight, right off the top of my head. i think it's obvious to anyone w/ eyes and good sense that usc turned a blind eye, at the very least, to it's players being enriched along the way.

    i don't care if sbb is right all the time, i'm just glad someone is out there banging that drum.

    Sports by Brooks is basically the sports version of the national enquirer. He basically throws a bunch of stuff against the wall, and hope it sticks, whether it is actually true or not

    not by a longshot. and if there was an ounce of whatever it is you want to believe there, sbb and everyone else would have been all over it and found something to run with. mack brown is clean as a whistle - annoyingly so, at times.

    Just google Colt McCoy's wife and you will see several articles from yahoo and other media outlets calling for the NCAA to investigate Texas' football program based on the comments she made on Colin Cowherd's radio show

    what does one have to do w/ the other? a blonde bimbo seemingly gives the sbb and yahoos of the world a reason to dig into texas and yet, no one does/comes up w/ anything. i'd welcome anyone to dig into recruiting or improper benefits at texas.
