We return 2 starters on our secondary, but I would bet cash money that our D will be better than A&M's. We were a top 5 unit in 2010 after we lost 10 starters

  • It doesn't have to be a flame. It's not a flame when I discuss with Florida fans that those week 2 and 3 games will be battles. Urban left Florida with their Karma redlining in the negative. Most obvious way that was manifested was in a conceded, dysfunctional roster with a lot of primadonnas and know it alls.

They aren't out of that place yet. One thing I've argued with Gators ad nauseum about is the overall quality of this past class in terms of answering questions they add.

Florida has a green QB with limited talent at RB and WR and a "solid to good" OL going into College Station when the 12th man will have maybe it's finest hour to date. Florida has ever right to lose that game. It's not a flame to predict they will. I actually think Florida pulls it out and loses to Tennessee the next week. From QB to FS the Vols have a well balanced, solidly constructed team that's finally "two-deep".

Florida will still own TAMU and Tenn for the most part going forward. But in September 2012 those games will be CLOSE CLOSE CLOSE

Some good points.. But our QBs are just as green and A&Ms. And people act like Driskell and Brisset are complete bums, and thats based of freshman seasons in the SEC.. Not sure the last time an freshman was successful in the SEC at QB. Bottom line is we have talent at the QB position, if they can just manage games this yr we will be fine. With a great defense and special teams our offense wont have to be special.. Last yr we had ALOT of guys starting for the 1st time on offense: Quintin Dunbar, Andre Debose and Jordan Reed come to mind. And last yr was atcually Jordan Reed's 1st yr at TE, he played QB the previous yrs.. We arnt anywhere near where we need to be in terms of talent on offense.. But you act like we have a bunch of nobodys, which is complete BS.. Are they unproven? Yes, but you have to start somewhere.. And gettin Charlie Cheesburger out was the best thing that happened to us.. Brent Pease gunna do some nice things this yr with our offense. The spring game was only a little preview of what it could be

Well Muschamp has been at UF one yr.. The enitre roster was basically recruited here by Meyer, minus the 30 something players that transfered.. So when you are playin at 64 kids on schollarship, while the limit is 85, that is Muschamp's fault?? You like everyone else just look at all our stacked recruiting classes under Meyer.. Yet you dont acknowledge all the transfers, which in reality makes most of those classes very average..

A lot of sunny side up in this post but Im famous for that myself so do your thing. I respect it.

I don't act like you have nobodies at offensive skill but for Florida it's close. Debose can run in a straight line, that's it. Dunbar is all practice hype and really would have done more by now if he was going to be good. RB is the same story. You have a bunch of guys who in a combined 6 seasons have rushed for around 1,000 yards and now your staff is throwing weight on them and telling them they're power backs now.

TAMU's QB is just as green but he'll wave his arms and the crowd will chill. Driskell/Brissett will try to audible and the place will go animalistic.

Like I've said all summer, it's not a flame when I say I think Florida goes 8-4 and starts 2-1. It would be darn good year for Muschamp in the premier league in CFB with a green QB. I still just don't see the WRs coming in that will solve UF's issue.

8-4 is realistic.. I think we go 9-3, I think we lose to LSU,FSU and one between UGA and South Carolina.. Debose can do more than run in a straight line lol, and Dunbar was a RS Freshman last yr in his 2nd diff offense in 2 yrs.. Not to mention Latroy Pittman came in and lit it up this spring, he wont be a bad 3rd or 4th WR.. And we have a nice group of TEs which you never seem to mention lol.. Reed, Clay Burton(Nice spring game), Colin Thompson and Kent Taylor are a nice group. Tayor can be lined up in the slot, and that is a match up nightmare for anyone. Not sayin we have this explosive offense or anything, but the spring does count, an our guys got better.. How much better? Were gunna find out Sept 8th

Debose was a RSo. Pittman is 18 year old. Taylor better not be on the field against LSU, FSU, etc. He'll get ruined emotionally and physically. He is NOT a matchup issue for an elite D when he's 6'5 225 and 18 years old.

Good luck. We need you guys to be either 8-3 or 9-2 coming into our game.
