Is there a team currently on ND's wins list...

  • That Alabama or Oregon wouldn't beat by 3 TDs.

    I'll hang up and listen...

    bamagrad03

  • Yes. There are some really good teams on their schedule, and its tougher than Bama's schedule easy. What point are you trying to prove?

EDIT, misread the question. Their "wins list"? Debatable. My original post still stands, though.

I think his point is that while ND has a few decent wins, they generally barely won.

On the other hand if those other teams played NDs schedule, they would have win more easily.

What "really good" team has ND beaten?

Bama and Oregon would beat us by more than 3 TDs.

  • Troll like question, but honestly the answer is no. Bama and Oregon would win by at least 14+ against those teams, probably worse. I think Bama v. ND would be a closer game than that though. ND actually plays defense.

what "really good" team has Bama beaten? I understand that Bama is a better team but in all likelihood, ND would be 5-0 against Bama's schedule as well. Actually...looking at that schedule, ND definitely would be 5-0.

Which team who's lost to ND would play Oregon or Bama within 3 TDs?

Oh I think they would too. But if you swap Bama's schedule and NDs - does Bama barely beat a middling Purdue team? We know what Bama would do to Michigan.

Would Oregon only score 13 on Michigan?

And the only reason I posed the "really good" question is because you suggested they had beaten a "really good" team.

Who knows? Its all a guessing game. All I know is, ND plays the tougher schedule, so they will be able to prove more on the field.

The point is that ND is overrated and if they play a top tier team in a bowl game, they will get waxed.

I didn't ask "which team is best at getting hyped up during the summer only to lose a game to an average football team every year"

So I'm confused as to why you're here.

His opinion is just as valid as yours. Probably more so since he isn't a homer.

Having seen your team barely beat decent and good teams that top tier teams would destroy.

Oh and the fact that Bama has a top 5 D and your D doesn't worry me at all should be play.

    ND ppg allowed: 7.8
    Bama ppg allowed: 7.0

do you feel that you have played better teams than us so far?

I think Ole Miss would wax Purdue. So would Arkansas. I think Miami is terrible. And Michigan is obviously a push.

Your most impressive win was over a pretty bad Mich St team.

You've played better names than us sure. But can anyone argue with a straight face that Miami or Purdue are good football teams?

They have played better names, and tougher teams. Not sure why an Alabama fan is talking about strength of schedule. Bama will likely be in the 40's or 50's at years end in SOS. Hell, they were nearly 40 last season, and they had a tougher schedule last year.

I'm not talking trash. I'm not flaming. It really just boggles my mind why an Alabama fan would want to talk about strength of schedule this year.
