Is this hit legal?

It is football. If you want to be able to remember your name at 50, do not play.

yep. they all know how violent the game is. if they were really worried about that, they wouldnt play. and every single player says theyve known they werent ok yet they still wanted to go in.

its a joke that these old, broke, farts are suing the NFL cause they need cash.

  • Here's the full play. Sean Lee covers/touches Tate around 3 seconds in ... and then gets "blindsided" a few seconds later. Lee should and could have saw this hit coming IMO. Legal or not, you can make the call, but all the talk of "dirty" and/or "no place for this" by the media is funny to me.

    Play

They aren't suing cause they need cash

They want some kind of health benefits and i think they deserve that more than Goodell deserves 20 million a year

Or giving more money to asswipes like Jerry Jones or Dan Synder

Players are seriously destroying themselves for the fans and nobody seems to care that the NFL just leaves them to die in miserable pain while bankrupting them in the process

Not all ex players are broke cause they bought rims and shit they didn't need

  • Normally I would say yes but considering it's a Cowboy that was on the receiving end then absolutely biggrin

I didn't like the no call on that hit since this past off season the NFL put in rules to make that hit illegal, but what I hated on that play was the flag on Anthony Spencer for essentially giving Russell Wilson a pat on the butt as he headed out of bounds.

Also to those defending him, If Golden Tate was on the receiving end of that hit, there would have been a 15 yard penalty and Sean Lee would have been fined by the NFL and rightfully so. Also if there was a no call y'all would be screaming bloody murder about him being a defenseless player.

Basically the NFL doesn't care about player safety, they only care about QB and WR safety.

Also the mini touchdown celebration Tate did after the hit is what made it even worse, that reaction showed that there was intent to injure, and I also have issue with no Cowboys players trying to end Golden Tate's career on the next play. When you see one of your guys get blindsided like that and then the guy who did it celebrate that should automatically mean he is getting laid out on the very next play.
