Every time the federal reserve (a private, multinational bank) prints money, however much it prints then turns into debt owed by our government to that bank. That is why it's laughable any time politicians try to act like we (the private citizen) should care about the national debt. The real reason we fought the American revolution was because the British had outlawed our currency which was not interest bearing.

Both President Lincoln and President Kennedy attempted to introduce currency that was not interest bearing. We are prisoners to the shackles of the Federal Reserve.

I have friends who are right-leaning, friends who are left-leaning, and friends who are centered. Almost all of them hate the Fed. As do I.

I'm not sure that changes my viewpoint.

The macroeconomic potential and adaptability given by a central bank is pretty solid.

Thats one thing i hope everyone can agree on, if.someone likes it then they are being trolled in the worst way.

It's chartered by the government and managed by public officials (although some of them might have...conflicting interests...), it's not like the US hired Bank of America to run the central bank. It's the banks bank. It's balance sheet is used to manipulate certain monetary policies to favor our economy, it's not an account for a Rothschild or anything like that.
