AJ McCarron just won the BCSNC Offensive MVP award.
He won this against what many were calling the best secondary in the entire country.
He also had the 2nd highest QB rating in the SEC (147) behind only Tyler Wilson (148) during 2011.
Bama has tons of good receivers.

Mccarron is merely a game manager stop it.He doesn't have to do anything but feed of playaction which leaves gapping holes in the opposing opponents secondary caused by them trying to stop the run at all cost.He is nothing special and neither are your receivers.Your running game however is very special. It's so special that it will give the illusion that a scrub like Mccarron is actually a great QB.Dude is a game manager no more no less.

did you even watch the BCSNC? AJ dropped perfect balls all over LSU, threw on every 1st down, and set up the run with the pass.
AJ will get drafted. much higher than you think. he's looked at as about the #5 QB for the '14 draft. ~about a round 3-4 type player

Amazes me every year how many teams choose the "fools gold" of these pinball offenses and no defense. Alabama plays a different style than Oregon and Ok State. Who has the better offense? Well that would depend on who you are playing. Oregon folded like a tent against allbarn and LSU and Oregon would throttle Ok State so they should not be a pert of this conversation anyway.
USC plays basically the same offense as Bama with the emphasis more on passing than brutalizing the opposition. They are both still prostyle offenses. In the national perspective USC's O is great because they throw it all over the lot and Bama's O is pedestrian because we don't. Somehow Bama just keeps on winning.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

That's not true coolstorybro. Everyone knows that the Runninggame is not a part of any offensive philosophy so it doesn't count. It's only if the QB passes for 400 yards and 5 TD's. Usually happens to teams who are playing from behind or playing B12 opponents.

I love how the USC fans love to denigrate our QB and receivers. I don't think anybody has compared McCarron to the second coming of Namath. You all keep underestimating him and we'll keep winning. As for our receivers, they are young for the most part but again are not going to put up the pinball numbers to get noticed by sports center. As for McCarron, I believe that he has all the tools to put up huge numbers in one of those wide open passing attacks but we will never know no will we.

The guys a game manager and it's really nothing wrong with being that. Nobodies hating on dude when they say that. You act like people don't give Bama props at all. We both know that's far from the truth. Amari Cooper looks like he will be a good WR in the near future.

What have your quarterbacks done in the league that would make them amything less than as you so eloquently state as a game manager?? Hell sanchez cant even buy a touchdown pass, leinert does anybody know where he is the back up currently?? The only one the last 10 12 years I would give a nickel for is palmer and i would be cautious even then in doing so. Matt Barkely will be no acception in this case. Bama will skullf--k you on the line of scrimmage and you will hit some passes but barkely will be picking the grass out of his facemask all night long and that is a fact!

The funny thing is, Sanchez is not that good imo but Mcelroy still won't ever sniff the starting job for the Jets. On top of that, both Leinart and Sanchez are light years better than anything to come out of Bama in years. Generally our players are better pros than yours also. Sure man Bama will do whatever they want to anybody they want. Anything else you would like to add?

Their O-line is monstrous no facking doubt about it.Yeldon looks good to.The weakness is having Mccarron and the WR's beat you passing.Mccarron looks extremely good when he's feeding off playaction but I doubt he can beat you slinging it all over the yard.I still think LSU will beat them in Death Valley.
