A few thoughts:
1. Kent State is truly not the #17 team in the nation. IMHO they'll lose to NIU in the MAC championship, who will end with the bid.
2. In years past the non-AQ teams that made it in (with the exception of Hawaii) at least proved they deserved it in the game they played. I doubt NIU or Kent State will, I think they'll get trashed. But it isn't their fault for fulfulling the criteria set forth.
3. The blame falls on all the BCS teams ahead of them for crapping the bed in spectacular and systemic fashion this week.

We lived with my wife's mom for 12 days when we moved back 6 years ago while the deck and basement on our house was being finished.
After 3 or 4 day it gets bad.

NIU will beat them, but it won't be enough, they are 21, and have to jump 5 teams. It's just not going to happen.
