People saying he made stuff up are delusional. People saying he shouldn't voice his opinion if it puts their school in a bad, realistic light are delusional.
The fact he had to issue an apology is sad. If him telling the truth hurts the ND site I'd tell them to go kick rocks. If they don't like the truth then they can leave.

I like JC, he certainly wants to provide a quality product to all of us, the best college sports site on the internet. But it is very clear that the administration is accustomed to marketing a regional product, not a national one. This was a huge faux pas.
You can't tread on toes, you can't always say what you think...one must learn to navigate the PR waters without alienating your customers - while being asked your opinion if you represent this network. I can think of a 1,000 different ways this could have been handled differently, without angering anyone. That takes clever subtlety.
If this network wishes to be successful on a national level, you need to be very careful expressing an opinion - even if asked. I marvel at the blatant agenda of some of the posters with a "STAFF" badge that will make snarky remarks about other programs on this network. Poor business practices.
