The fact that it was from the guys that did the X-Men movies is what caught my attention.

I thought the X-Men movies were pretty damn good.

I don't believe Hollywood is at an all time low. I think the fact it is easier to produce movies means there are just more in general (thus the propensity for more bad movies in general, just from a numbers standpoint). Couple that with everyone's extreme case of Golden Age Syndrome and the Internet (which makes everyone feel like a critic) and we get this.

It's always been like that. We just only remember the good ones as the years go by, hence GAS.

Plenty of idea recycling in Hollywood these days, but it's always been that way.

As for bad movies, it's supply and demand. If people didn't go see them, they wouldn't make them.

Im a fan of SOA, as are many people. It's a good show. I hope you aren't that guy that points out everything that is unrealistic in tv and films?
