Jeff Luc to Cincinnati

  • I remember word about him transferring, but don't remember the story. Can the FSU guys let me know what to expect?

  • I think he will be good, maybe great

He was just stuck behind a kid the same age ( also a 5 star kid Christian Jones ) and said eff it, i want to start and i can't beat this son of bitch out so shit, i gotta leave

Every time i saw him play he looked good to me, just not better than the beast in front of him which just sucked for him

Im still sad he left, one of my favorite players

  • He sure looked like a college LB in High School, definetly didn't need to get bigger for the next level

He is a good player and still plenty big

I can see him being a stud right away in the Big East

    I would guess he is a solid 6'0" 240

  • Thanks guys. As you can imagine Cincinnati fans are very excited to have him in the fold due to recruiting rankings alone. Hopefully the change of scenery will be great for him. Seems like he is a good kid (won a community service award or somthing?) who left on good terms.......correct?

Yeah man and he is a good kid

Only left FSU cause he had a potential top 15 NFL draft talent in front of him in the same class

He should move right in and start iyam, i expect him to at least

It took him awhile to choose a school so my guess is he did his homework on depth charts cause Cinn seems like a random ass choice no offense

None taken. He was reported to go to Kansas State per his own twitter.
I think everyone was surprised by this.

  • Best of luck to the young man. He came to fsu to live him dreams, however, things just didn't work out for him here. He sure seemed to have great potential based on the hype. Wish him well in the future and we will always accept him in our Seminole family.

  • really had high hopes for him. still dont see why the coaches wanted him at olb at FSU. shoulda been a mike with his playing style. hopefully he plays well at cincy. cant blame him for wanting to get on the field

The game has changed and so has the mike position in Stoops defense

He fit good where he was and likely would have been fine when called on

It all came down to being behind arguably the best player/talent on the team and knowing he wouldn't see the field very much if at all for C Jones is a dood you want playing every snap and certainly all the meaningful ones

Jones and Joyner are the two leaders of the defense outside of Jenkins and Dawkins

  • Wow, thought this kid was a stud can't miss future 1st rounder type. Just goes to show recruiting rankings and highschool highlight videos aren't everything.

  • OK- I'll ask it: Does anyone know- Why Cinci??

Did FSU not allow him to go certain places, with this transfer? Like- no place in Florida, or the South.

Sorry- this has kinda blown my mind a bit.

Maybe someone at 247 can get a interview with the kid. Thanks for any help.

See- now this would make sense. A coach that he really liked in his original recruitment being at Cinci now, is something that I was thinking coulda been the reason. But I had no way to figure out. Can anyone else confirm this?
