taking an "elite 11" QB behind the woodshed at 7on7's in Hoover.
I thought he was supposed to suck.... anyone?

Good for him, but i think these guys that are judged throwing it around in shorts and tees park style is way over rated. Not a flame on him, Ill say the same about Bama guys as well

I agree ... when a couple 300lbers are wrecking a backfield, it's a whole different ballgame... Johnson is long and slings it effortlessly though. Great pocket presense from the film I've seen as well. Looking forward to seeing how he progresses through his Senior year.

Agree. I just watch 7o7's to see arm strength, mechanics and accuracy. His mechanics aren't as slow and deliberate as I once thought, which is promising with his size. Seems pretty accurate with solid arm strength too.

JJ has a very strong arm, seems to go through his progressions well, accurate, overall good timing. A little late at times, but that can be corrected. 6'6" 215, 4.5 neighborhood and can jump out of the gym....can't teach that.

their QB's looked like miracle workers vs almost everyone last season .
w/ any better QB play they may have won in week 8 by fifty .
but i must agree that i did notice some bad QB in the highlights or was it the o-line ?
