Congrats, I think JJ could turn into a pretty good QB, whether or not he will be better than Bateman our recent commit, only time will tell. I feel good about our future at QB and our chances that Bateman will be another Bama great. RTR

I'm actually happy with J. Johnson. I think he is a bit of a project but we have time for that. Our starter is just a Sophmore. This kid has put up some numbers and plays with a not so good team in a very under paid school. His ceiling is pretty high. Does he get there? I don't know many top QBs have never panned out. I am always a fan of taking in state guys and keeping in roads in towns. He has done pretty good at the Hoover 7 on 7's last two years. He didn't have a whole lot of talent surrounding him during those either.

This (^^^) is accurate. Johnson has big upside and a big hill to climb to realize that upside. His athleticism alone warrants the 4 star rating imo.
He is a reportedly a tremendous basketball player. Has the au bball coach discussed playing both sports.
