Im a diver. don't know much about military watches. I can say that it depends on the price tag you are looking for. I have noticed the nice looking deep water (means extreme durable) watches are costly (like omega, ball and oris). A mid grade diver watch would be like victorinox or a dive company (like mares, tusa, and suunto).
