Nope. What Jim did to comeback in the game was pretty amazing and should have won the game had the refs made the right calls on the last few plays.

  • John won with a team obviously less talented.

John has made 5 straight playoffs in 5 years.

What has Jim done to say he's better, yet?

Johns gameplan is what won this game

Obviously less talented? Yeah. Having the best LB of all time and possibly the best safety of all time to go along with one of the best rush LBs, arguably the best DT, one of the top RBs, couple of great WRs, and a really good QB is obviously a less talented team.

Jim has turned the 49ers into a Super Bowl contender in just two short years. John can't say that. Basically what you stated has more to do with John being in the league longer than Jim.

Don't get me wrong, John is obviously a great coach, but Jim is better. John's gameplan technically won him the game, but Jim's should have won it had the refs made the correct call on 4th and goal.

the only difference in this game was a couple of plays: kick off return and a couple others.

Uh, Patrick Willis is better than Ray right now, maybe Bowman too. Justin smith and Ngata are the same. Aldon and Suggs are close. Gore s a top rb... Everything you sad I can refute, plus sf has a better OL.

As you say, "Jim s better"
.. How? He just got beat straight up?? Doesn't make sense other than you obviously pulling for SF.

    Agree in this game.

Ravens took the 49ers out of their gameplan early and it took a freak power outage to settle the 49ers down enough to get back to what they wanted to do.

49ers were the better team, IMO, but the Ravens were better prepared IYAM.

About the no call at the end. For one, calling a fade on 4th and goal drives me crazy. 2nd of all, Crabtree initiated the contact so I agree with the no call. Lastly, not saying it was uncatchable, but if you want a call, don't throw the ball out of bounds. Refs aren't going to be giving freebies at that point in the game.

Lewis played like crap tonight and hasn't been good all season. Bowman is much better right now.

Flacco's receivers made him a bunch of money tonight. JMO. Baltimore's OL played terrific tonight...hard to say which OL played better in the SB.

Literally EVERYBODY and their Momma said SF was the better team before the SB.. Now all of the sudden they don't have the better team? Excuses iyam

No one likes to bring up that the Ravens were a 5 win football team the yr before John arrived.

Also, Smith got held on a pass, earlier in the gm, that he likely would run under 10/10 times.

I think they're still the better team. Baltimore took advantage of their opportunities, while SF didn't. Crabtree fumbling away a big catch that lands right on his hands while Flacco chucks it up and Boldin bails him out. 49ers' playcalling at the end was poor as well.

Jim Harbaugh is still, IMO, the better coach. The way he's revamped the offenses both for Alex Smith and Colin Kaepernick has been fun to watch.

    Initiated contact?? Lol

He had to do whatever he could to get away from the dude to try and get to the ball.

They call holding on that same play all the time during the regular season

How can anyone disagree? John outcoached him plain and simple. Twice he's beaten Jim now. And who won the SB tonight? That's what I thought. And to be honest SF is the more talented team and Jim couldn't get it done. This is an easy answer imo. John>Jim hands down.

Agree. Jim is working with (arguably) the most loaded roster in the NFL. People tend to forget that, it seems.

Best LB of all-time, but not a top 5 MLB right now. Reed still plays at a high level, but he's not where he used to be.

Lol. It's always the refs didn't make the right call. You do realize the pass was ten feet over the receivers head and was not a catchable ball. Also, it could've been Offensive PI just as easy as defensive PI. You're just being a bitter fan. This is big boy football.

The Ravens DB barely touched him. Refs don't throw flags for weak contact like that especially in the super bowl with minutes left in the endzone. 9/10 times the refs let players duke it out in that situation. And if you're going to bitch about game changing penalties there were a few PI calls against SF that were overlooked and not called.

They would've been automatic first downs and could've completely changed the outcome of the game. Or how about when Flacco was floored out of bounds after the play was done and they were both out of bounds? If that would've been Manning or Brady there would've been yellow flags everywhere. Accept the fact the Ravens won that game straight up. They outplayed SF when it counted and 100% deserved the W.
