Nope. What Jim did to comeback in the game was pretty amazing and should have won the game had the refs made the right calls on the last few plays.

Lol they didn't call a PI against Torrey Smith that was going to be a huge gainer or unnecessary roughness when the hit Flacco it of bounds.

Ravens were way better and if.not for power outGrowth the game is way worse

  • I think both Coaches are arguably top 5 in the league.

Lol. It's always the refs didn't make the right call. You do realize the pass was ten feet over the receivers head and was not a catchable ball. Also, it could've been Offensive PI just as easy as defensive PI. You're just being a bitter fan. This is big boy football.

The Ravens DB barely touched him. Refs don't throw flags for weak contact like that especially in the super bowl with minutes left in the endzone. 9/10 times the refs let players duke it out in that situation. And if you're going to bitch about game changing penalties there were a few PI calls against SF that were overlooked and not called.

They would've been automatic first downs and could've completely changed the outcome of the game. Or how about when Flacco was floored out of bounds after the play was done and they were both out of bounds? If that would've been Manning or Brady there would've been yellow flags everywhere. Accept the fact the Ravens won that game straight up. They outplayed SF when it counted and 100% deserved the W.

While I somewhat agree with the no-call, it's a bit of stretch to say "the Ravens DB barely touched him". He had a pretty nice hug and jersey grab going on for a bit.

You want to talk about those calls then you need to bring them all up. What about the hold on the kickoff return for a TD? If they arent going to call defensive holding, why call it on Culliver the previous drive on 3rd and 9?

Obviously less talented? Yeah. Having the best LB of all time and possibly the best safety of all time to go along with one of the best rush LBs, arguably the best DT, one of the top RBs, couple of great WRs, and a really good QB is obviously a less talented team.

Jim has turned the 49ers into a Super Bowl contender in just two short years. John can't say that. Basically what you stated has more to do with John being in the league longer than Jim.

Don't get me wrong, John is obviously a great coach, but Jim is better. John's gameplan technically won him the game, but Jim's should have won it had the refs made the correct call on 4th and goal.

If we want to play the "should have" game, you shouldn't be down 5 and in a 4th and 5 situation if you want to win the game.

The Ravens outplayed the 49ers. The 49ers made a valiant comeback, but it wasn't enough. Get the 2 point conversion to tie, and they're kicking a field goal to send it to overtime instead of throwing up a prayer out of necessity because they couldn't block the blitz on 4th down.

You don't make questionable calls to hand the trophy to the team that has trailed the whole game and couldn't punch it in on the first 3 tries. Contact from both players = Good no call.

John won with a team obviously less talented.

John has made 5 straight playoffs in 5 years.

What has Jim done to say he's better, yet?

Johns gameplan is what won this game

Agreed. Can't argue with facts. But some do anyways

They're close and considering Ngata didn't play the 2nd half.. Using him in an argument for Baltimore makes no sense. Both guys are top 3 at their position.

Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.

Ngata is good. That entire Ravens front deserves credit for not even allowing the read option to have a chance to work, minus one or two drives.

    BetterOff

  • He's had hip and shoulder issues all year. Smith is up there ranking wise but I think there is a big gap between Ngata and Watt and then everybody else.
