    U know I was actually thinking you weren't a good poster for a while... but I remember you are actually rational.. anyone that can admit when a team is better usually isn't being a homer...

    with that being said... I think Jimbo is just as good as/or better than Kiffen because although we weren't in as much trouble as USC, FSU has been in trouble recently... Jimbo had a rebuilding project and has a 19-8 record out of it... still has a long way to go to prove he is elite but he has done the bare minimum it takes to make that leap in my opinion... only people that hyped FSU last year was the media who knew that FSU vs OK would draw a big tv crowd last year for an early OOC game...did I expect us to win? yeah... but did I believe we would win a MNC? no... do I expect that this year? Yea but the bare minimum is ACCCG + BCS win... I prefer Jimbo because Kiffen is a jump ship type of guy...

  • Just saw this thread and refuse to read any responses but will add my take. Kiffin is 5 times the coaching talent. Jimbo is a darn solid coach and darn good CEO.

    Kiffin is far less predictable but twice the natural talent. He's just a genius plain and simple. But he's also a colossal douche and is full of himself.

    Jimbo is far more the family man but has 75% the ceiling Lane does.

    FSU can win a title with Jimbo. No doubt. USC could win 3 of the next 6 with Lane and then he flicks everyone off and goes to the pros or just elopes with two hookers to Thailand. He's just a savant with the maturity of a 20 year old college kid. Trust me, i know.

    Not that you're ever even trying to have a true read of me as a poster but if you notice I am a massive fan of the man between the lines and think he's a douche in the office. He told me to "F____ myself" one time because i messed up coallating a his playbook print off. Then gave me a 100 dollars as an apology without saying anything. Didn't say anything, just gave me a 100 dollars and gave me that emotionally retarded back pat men give when they can't manage words.

    I cussed him under my breath and took it. I don't like Lane. But his talent is as obvious as can be.

    No need for an explanation, if I was an AD and I had to pick Jimbo or Lane to be my coach I'd take Lane. Like him better then Jimbo as a coach. Jimbo is a better person though if that makes you feel better.
