With this new staff it's obvious he wants to run the show through 2014 when we have our best team in a long time it appears. I'd say either way but especially if we flop in 2014 he'll hire an OC to run the show. That's when FSU will potentially blow up imo.

What we are referring to is losing to NC St and Florida at home.

Also, the year before when fsu was preseason top 5 they lost 4 games. That is the definition of underachieving.

I think the issue that the noles face will be keeping these new coaches. They will not be able to pay Brewster what MSU is paying him now. FSU simply doesn't have the funds that other high profile programs have for assitants, staff and other football personel. He may very well take the job because its a higher profile program but how long can Jimbo keep/ hire coaches for less money than what they can get other places? Also, if they keep not underacheiving and being exactly where they are supposed to be, how much longer does the high profile program moniker stick?

My comment was directed at you because made it sound like it was just him and not a staff as a whole who got their ass kicked by Ole Miss. In case you missed it Ole Miss kicked most peoples ass year in recruiting.

I didn't say broke, I said you don't have the extra funds that the other elite programs have. Thats a very simple fact that anybody with knowledge of the FSU program understands.

*we lost our elite status way before 2005

*our program is getting better and better under jimbo.. I have no idea what our ceiling is under him, but i feel confident we can be a top 10 program and some years be in contention for the national title(like this year)

*our schedule is being what it is can't be fully blamed on FSU... WVU backed out of a home and home after joining the Big 12 leaving us with Savannah St and BCC... There was absolutely nothing we could have done, but we are scheduling better in the future... Next year we are playing Okie st to kick off the year and we will be getting Notre Dame added to our schedule as well..

*As for the ACC, it is hurting us, but not in the way you think.. Would it be nice to have a more competitive conference?? sure, however it won't make that much of a difference imo.. If FSU is undefeated, we're playing for the title... The ACC is hurting our pockets though and I don't see that changing anytime soon
