Pretty solid thread from both sides. I believe that only God knows where we stand with salvation but Jesus taught that our actions should show His sacrifice, mercy and grace. I'm grateful that my life (trainwreck) isn't where my salvation lies. Only grace. Btw, I'm as untrusting towards organized religion as anyone itt and "Christian" is the most misused word in ou language imo.

I wish I would "adhere" to all the parts, glad there's grace. I don't understand though, I'm not the smartest guy but I find the Bible to be pretty understandable (and not contradictory) for my life.

I try to adhere to it, but fail most of the time, as do most folks. That's pretty much the whole reason for Christ and the New Testament, is because man was unable to keep the law and standards of the Old Testament. Keeping in mind that the Bible must be read in context, what about it do you say is contradictory? 100% no flame.
