Joey Bosa and OSU + Meyers relationship with Florida HS

  • First off, its nice that the wonder actually pulled a kid from Florida

    Then I remembered that STA has an OSU legend on the coaching staff in Chris Carter

    So far ole Urbie Meyer really sucks when it comes to recruiting his former state for this is #1 and I barely even say it counts, what say you cool

    Discuss....

    Will he ever recruit Florida well again ? or die from a fake heart attack first ?... tough call iyam, Im leaning towards the fake death

    I thought Bosa's uncle played at OSU and his mom was an OSU grad.

    Not really reaching down into Florida and taking Florida kids.

    The bigger story would have been if he DIDN'T get Bosa.

    You're right though, it sucks this guy can't recruit and it's really bad that he can't win without Mullen or Strong. I have accepted the fact that OSU is going to replace Indiana as the leagues kicking toy. I wish we still had Jim Bollman!!!

    This. Just like last class when he poached a bunch of kids that would have been at PSU had the Sandusky disaster not ensued. toot for pulling recruits that were going to OSU regardless.

    No coaches want you recruiting their kids after you've already dicked over a bunch of local kids from previous years.

    You just sound bitter! He has recruited the best players in Ohio and now he is going National to fill the class. The days of settling for lesser talent just because he is from OHIO are over. As far as recruiting Florida he just took the best defender from the state and will soon take the best TE so what else do you want him to take from Florida?

    Florida was the SEC version of Purdue before he was there and he was the only reason the won 2 NC's. Get over it! Hey had a picture of Woody Hayes in his Florida office and had a cluse in his contract to leave Florida if OSU was available, had the same thing in his contract at Utah as well. Get over it!
