I don't see Johnny Manziel winning. Too young. Voters won't vote for him because they will figure he has the next few years to win. May not be right, but when does the media do things the right way?

Then add Johnny has more INTs than passing TDs during his toughest 3 games.. It doesn't make sense to me.

I dont disagree with the fact that having two elite tackles is a HUGE help but people arent considering that most of the defensive coordinators (even LSU with their elite defensive ends) dont rush Manziel like they would a traditional pocket passer because if they get pushed up the field, and lose contain, he's going to take off and make them pay by running it. He just doesnt see the same kind of pass rush that a traditional QB does because of his ability to run if he gets pressured.

The other thing is that people are assuming that we havent/wont recruit players. No arguement that it's hard to replace ELITE guys but we have done a pretty good job recruiting highly talented guys at that position.

Manziel has faced 4 defenses ranked in the top 15 or higher, at the time he played them.

LSU, Bama and Florida are about as good as it gets on defense.

How many defenses has Mariota faced/ beat that rank in the top 20? - serious question because i dont know, but my assumption is that the number is less than what Manziel has faced.

Mariota definitely belongs in the top five, but given the system he plays in and the weapons around him he has major advantages someone like Klein doesn't have. Oregon's schedule also has been the weakest by far up to this point. My list right now would be:

1. Klein
2. Manziel
3. Teo
4. Barner
5. Mariota

TAM has far better WRs. Not even kidding. Also has the ~best set of tackles in the country.

How is the system help? I mean it isn't really a QB friendly system since he has the best stats of any QB in this system and still has lesser Bulk numbers.

He is just really good and efficient.
