  • Over half Miami's class is made up of kids you could say were "generally unwanted" by BCS programs. 11 months ago I was perfectly fine with the assumption Miami would sign a bad ass class. They won't on wednesday and them trying to get 32 guys into it just reminds you they are lubing up for the NCAA.

    Their top 10 recruits are good. They'd generally be 10 of the top 20 guys in a good Miami class.

  • Its a solid class if you took the top 10 and then another 6 or 7. Other than Duke there are no difference makers. Lots of bodies in that class that will just fill the roster and nothing else. A good job by Golden considering the circumstances but nowhere near what UM needs to get back. They really needed a solid QB and I dont think they got one. They need a ton of LBs and we will steal one of the two good LB commits they have. They wont get JHC and I dont think they get Howard either.

    There are 2 big time programs in valdosta

    We haven't gotten dick from the other one for some reason

    It is tough to get kids out of Valdosta high for some reason. We were in it for the tight end who signed UGA and was a clemson legacy but that is the only one I can think of that we had a shot with. Plus Lowdes seems to have better talent than Valdosta, and that is why Lowdes has pretty much owned Valdosta the last few years.

    I wasn't excited for Ponder and he ended up being the highest drafted QB in FSU history

    And? Almost every scrub we signed at QB never even saw the field. Sure one of those 3 could break out but ive watched the film on them and I dont see it. They needed a great QB in this class and didnt get one. UM wont get anywhere if all they do well is hand the ball off to Duke.

  • Dude, Dewey dropped like a rock for a reason. The kid cant stay healthy. Crow is a MAC level QB. Sorry, but it is my opinion that none of these guys will be a dominant QB. You dont have to like it.

  • I don't think he goes to Florida. He's either deciding to go to a more comfortable place at FSU or a place where he feels he has the best chance to succeed at UGA.

    Its just the fact you base it on his high school makeup

    Kid could be a whole different animal in a couple years

    QB's are so hard to say how good they will be coming from high school

    If they get Olsen none of this will matter anyways but to say Miami needed some 5 star stud QB this class is a little ridiculous and premature

    I don't think he feels UGA gives him a better chance to succeed

    He will pick one of us because he feels the most comfortable there

    Like say he picks UGA cause of the 3-4 and relationships with so and so on the team/staff

    Or he will pick FSU cause of the 4-3 and how he fits and relationships with so and so on the team/staff

    That is what this choice will come down to imo

    Neither team gives him a better chance to succeed
