Why in the world would you take a qb...I landed Eli in the fifth round of my draft last year...You need to come up with three legit RB's and only one qb.

Man I hope I don't get stuck with number 1 in my league, but if I was stuck and had to do it....I'd go with McCoy.

This is sorta what I'm thinking. It makes sense to take the #1 fantasy player (Rodgers) #1 overall, but there is such a dearth of talent at other positions, I think I'm much more keen to wait a bit. I'm thinking I may do something like this: my first five picks will be three RB, a QB, and a TE, unless I get great value for a solid WR in there.

Rodgers, here's why: bears d sucks balls, so does the Vikings, and I don't even know how Gunther Cunningham still has a job as the lions d coordinator, cause they also suck. He plays each of them twice

Ill respectfully disagree here. I haven't drafted a RB prior to 6th round in 3 years. I've won 2 of the last 3, made it to finals in the other. Every year there are rbs that come out of nowhere. Trick is loading up on them late after getting stud qb or 2 (1is insurance or trade bate later in season) wrs, and te. If u pick a kicker or defense before the last 2 rounds, you should quit fantasy football

Because Rodgers is a much better fantasy QB then Eli. Eli will probably fall to the 5th in my league too, because he isn't going to win you a championship. If you can pick up Brees, Brady or Rodgers most years you are going to have a hard time not winning games unless you totally screw up your other picks. RBs aren't what they used to be, it's a passing league and half the time RBs come from nowhere to tear it up. Two years ago I had Mcfadden and Charles as my RBs, neither of which I drafted.

Guess it depends on the league. Last year in my league 9 out of 10 first round picks were RB's. If you wanted a legit RB you had to go in the first round, I think Gore was the best one left by the end of the first. If you waited till the fifth to get a RB you were going to be getting the 30th rated RB.
