I didn't. I like the 1554 a lot. I think Colorado is in a class of their own. After Sierra Nevada, the entire state basically started the entire beer revolution. I don't like to include that Mass beer in any convos, so I look at Sierra as the leader and Colorado blasted everything off...
funny thing is I'm drinking a Dale's Pale Ale as we speak!

Oskar Blues has some good beers, and their tasting room is one of the best I've been to. Just down the street from OB is Left Hand, which I rate above OB, but that's just being really nit-picky.
There are some great breweries in Cali, especially in the San Diego area. From SD up through northern Cali up to Russian River, there are some great breweries putting out some phenomenal beer out there.

Couple of weeks ago they had Sawtooth on Nitro and they also had an Imperial version that clocked in rat at 9% ABV. This year's version of the Fade to Black is freakin' delicious! Great thing about living near all these great breweries is trying all their "experiments" and beers they don't distribute.
