Just had my first Fat Tire..

Everything is all opinion. I'm on a business trip to Charlotte and the place I went to had fat tire, heard it was good so I tried it and really liked it.

Sure it's all opinion, but there's no denying who the big dogs are...

I didn't. I like the 1554 a lot. I think Colorado is in a class of their own. After Sierra Nevada, the entire state basically started the entire beer revolution. I don't like to include that Mass beer in any convos, so I look at Sierra as the leader and Colorado blasted everything off...

funny thing is I'm drinking a Dale's Pale Ale as we speak! cheers

Oskar Blues has some good beers, and their tasting room is one of the best I've been to. Just down the street from OB is Left Hand, which I rate above OB, but that's just being really nit-picky.

There are some great breweries in Cali, especially in the San Diego area. From SD up through northern Cali up to Russian River, there are some great breweries putting out some phenomenal beer out there.

    Love the Sawtooth!! :)

  • Couple of weeks ago they had Sawtooth on Nitro and they also had an Imperial version that clocked in rat at 9% ABV. This year's version of the Fade to Black is freakin' delicious! Great thing about living near all these great breweries is trying all their "experiments" and beers they don't distribute.

  • 1554 is pretty good, will be drinking that tonight as it has been on sale lately. Also had Snow Day which was merely ok, just not my style. Havent tried Fat Tire yet, just prefer porters and stouts and other dark stuff.

Left Hand is a solid brewery. I really like their Milk Stout especially on draught.

I have the fade to black on tap at my bar right now, but soon to be kicked. I had the Warrior on last week by Left Hand as they only brew it once a year...

Like me some OB Old Chub. Especially love that and Dale's on a nitro pour.

Like me some Left Hand as well.
