Good thing I voted by mail. Longest wait for me was about an hour.
I don't think I'll ever wait in line to vote again if I don't have to.

Didn't experience that, but living in Northern Virginia, I went to vote at 6:30 this morning and had about a 45 minute wait. But was told that people were lining up at 5am to vote. Felt like I was at the DMV for a second.

But, you missed my point. How were lines nine hours long? Polls haven't been up but 6 hours, how are lines nine hours? Then Chris Matthews said that Ohio in having more than a week of early voting, somehow amounted to voter suppresion

The neighborhood I live in has its own voting poll. There's only 900 or so registered voters that even vote there.

There is no reason we can't replace some stupid federal holiday for the election. Hell! Put it on a Saturday. Voting by mail is another option.

They said on CNN that bad weather gives a 2.5% advantage toward Republicans. I guess we know which party doesn't put much effort in the election process...

Seriously. We probably should do tests and have poll taxes and stuff. Maybe we should do cup checks. Anyone with a vagina can't vote. I think you should have to own property too.
