What is awkward is the guy was hardcore rooting for Pitt as a PSU fan.
I was watching the game last night and honestly, my only hope for that was a massive meteorite hitting the stadium. It was hard to root for or against either of the teams as I wanted them to both lose somehow. But I sort of wanted ND to lose more as I see Pitt completely irrelevant in CFB (even with PSU sanctions we will be a better program than Pitt), and see them becoming a lower tier team in the ACC with the likes of Duke and North Carolina State.
At the end of the game I asked myself what was I thinking? Pitt was going to win? Hah. I think I secretly just wanted to see Lou Holtz and Mark May both blow up.
