The only time I hit Kfc is when the have a buffet. The only way I hit church's is when im desperate or feel the need to fire bomb something.

Knott's is the best take out but there's only one location.

Agree on the home fried in a cast iron skillet. My mother in law was the best chicken fryer I ever saw and my dad was damn good being from Georgia.

church's. church's chicken is better than popeye's, and popeye's is pretty good. not sure why kfc is even a thought. if church's had popeye's red beans and rice, that would be perfect.

that said, i'm hungry as hell right now and popeye's is 2mi from my house and church's is 5 or 6mi away. pretty sure i'm about to mow a 4pc spicy mixed.

Bojangles is awesome but you can't get it everywhere.

I never heard of the place until I moved to North Carolina years ago. They have real good breakfast as well.
