I'm just saying, most athletes of that caliber come in expecting to contribute and play right away. That's how competitors think. That may relax once they get there and see the learning curve that is a college system and the competition that's there ... but you can have all the "it's not my turn" guys you want. I want the guys who don't care who is there or who is in front of them.
That's why I'm excited about Alvin Kamara coming to Alabama ... hell, that whole RB class. They know it's loaded and don't care.

No, I'm pretty sure recent events show that we're not idiot- or thug-proof. It only seemed that way.
My stance is this: we constantly have to fight the "loaded depth chart" recruiting tactic, yet we keep signing "sweet paper" classes and stockin' crystal, majority of which we do with kids who are tremendous competitors. Those that aren't get processed out.
