Chiefs fan here and many mention LB's and DT Loutlelei, but these aren't needs. The Chiefs were 2-14 but they have a very strong defense. They will not take the Utah DT because they took Poe high in the 1st round last year/ They won't take Jarvis Jones or Te'o because they have Hali, Houston, and D.Johnson in their starting lineup. They don't really need to add another LB this high when their offense is that bad.
The offensive line isn't a major need, as the skill positions(minus Charles and Bowe) are why the Chiefs struggled. They may take Joeckel if they decide he is the best target on the board, but that is about it for the OL.
I could see them taking Geno, Barkley, or Wilson or whoever else works their way up to a high spot with good workouts/combine. It's possible as RG3 wasn't very highly thought of at this point a year ago, it was only after the workouts that he became elite. I am not saying any of these guys will be near RG3 status, but I could see someone moving to the top of the draft board in this weak class.
I'd rather go with Joeckel in round 1, then take Geno/Barkley/Wilson/Bray/Glennon/Nassib in round 2 or maybe round 3 unless there is someone dumb enough to trade up for the top pick- and in which case take that deal no matter how low value it is to get the extra help in form of picks and avoid paying the contract a QB with the #1 pick would take up.
