Kansas St.... and why they are a pretender

  • Not many wanted to hear me weeks ago when I called out WVU and USCe..... and a few of their fans went nuts, well they got their medicine in heavy doses these past few weeks

Lolz at WVU BTW, holy shit

Kansas St is a very well coached team, no doubt

Btu they don't have the horses to keep going and lets face the facts, they haven't beaten anybody

OU has been crippled by injuries badly this season, and they got them early on which was lucky so they eeked out a 5 point win.... color me not impressed

Outside of that they have beaten nobody

Unless you count victories against WVU, Miami, Missouri St, Kansas, Iowa State and North Texas somebody, I don't

Kansas St is next on the hot seat, their loss or losses are coming sooner than later

Don't fall for it TBB, they are not that good

  • If you asked KSU fans, they never thought hey were title contenders, but players in the BCS bowls instead. I don't think they want to go against Bama for the crystal ball. They took Oregon off their schedule, messing up their SOS.

Best they should hope for is a Fiesta Bowl berth beating some at-large team and finish #2 at the end of the regular season undefeated. It would cement CBS legacy more than a blowout against the Tide in Miami IMO.

  • yea they flat out dont have enough talent

just look at the recruiting they might not have a 4 star on the team or many 3's

  • I don't think they're elite, but they're still a very good team. Even though WVU is obviously not elite, beating them is still a decent win. I'd say Iowa State is a decent win too. Not great win, but decent. And you can write off the Oklahoma victory, but that's a good one still.

It's not always about who they beat, but how they beat them. I'm confident in saying they're a top 10 team.

Yup, and everybody is except Bama

This is one of the weirdest years in college football ever

Its one great team and a bunch of good ones

And the Heisman Race is the worst I have ever seen

I agree about the Heisman race. I still think Barkley backs into the award, IMO assuming K St loses.

  • The Big 12 SUCKS.. Most overrated conference in CFB, without a doubt.. Oklahoma is good.. Who else? Texas Tech? lol, trash

I don't unless K-State tailspins. It's Klein's to lose and Geno can still put up vg numbers.

USC's schedule is backloaded and the numbers probably won't be there for Matt. Is it bad that I don't want him to win it? Winning the Heisman as a QB doesn't translate we'll to NFL success.

43% of the teams in the SEC have a losing record. The only AQ conference with a higher percentage of teams with a losing record is the Big East. You want to talk about overrated? Look at your own team and your own conference, brah.

Yeah ok guy.. LSU, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, Georgia would ALL finish at least 2nd or 3rd in the big 12

Has your fan allegiance gone from Florida State to LSU to Alabama or did it go straight from Florida State to the SEC in general?

I think with it being backloaded it just means USC needs to win and his stats don't matter as much. Klein is definitely in the driver's seat, but he's a type of guy that will drop if K St loses quickly, IMO.

Hell, if everyone loses and Bama wins out AJ could slide in with an outside chance, especially if he has a couple of more big games like yesterday.
