CBs rarely do well in their first year. The second year is really when they turn into great players (if they do at all).

Corner is such a different position to adjust to because of the contact rules. Personally, I'm shocked that those positions are drafted so high sometimes.

It took Kareem some time to adjust to the difference between the high school game and the college game as well. He may have got drafted in the first round, but he was really REALLY bad his first year as a starter as well for us. Actually Milliner wasn't that good as a freshman for us either.
