Going through that schedule undefeated, he deserved it. Heck of a job.

lol I'm sure some SC fans are starting to squirm. Payback is always better. Last year SC was on cloud 9 trying to poach a few of our kids. Sadly Houston was bigger dog than SC, who knew?shrug Poor Tee Shepard had to miss this magical run and is now banished to Norman. Really feel for that kid, was huge Domer at heart..I know Vanderdoes is lock too coach O.. What are you hearing about Redfield and his upcoming visit?

We'll be seeing Redfield once a year...depending on what position he plays. biggrin

Not one bit jealous, there are plenty of good players to go around. We get more than our fair share. Irish have their mystique, we have our glamor. Great and storied programs never really die, we understand the cyclical nature of CFB.

Honestly, congrats with everything...I remember the joy of coming back again when everyone said USC would never be relevant again. Those down years were tempered with the pride of our rising academic profile, so hardly wasted years.

The Irish should be proud...and you deserve your place in the sun. Win or lose, you're still Notre Dame, just as we are still USC...the name on the front of the jersey has always meant more than a name on the back.

I understood the sarcasm. Good luck in your bowl. I go to the MIch/ND game every year with a group of fans of both teams. We were going to change it up and start to go to more away games of each team but decided to hold off for two more years since we don't know when they will play again. I think Hoke is a heck of a coach and they are going to be a couple of great games.
