  • Anyone see it last night? I caught about half, overall I thought pretty good. Has there ever been a team that all 5 starters were 5 star recruits wtih a few extra on the bench? I dont think they have that many it just seems like it.

  • It's insane the way they are recruiting. As good as USC was and Alabama is recruiting they don't have nothing on Kentucky basketball.

  • If they get Wiggins to reclassify and sign with them the 2013 class will be their best ever. As in, so ridiculous it should be discussed as impossible.

    2013 will be the 5th consecutive year that Kentucky has Rivals' #1 recruiting class, and that's without Wiggins. Just an unbelievable run they're on.

    I don't think he really cheats anymore because he's built up UK into a place that all the top kids want to go to and he is getting kids to the NBA more than anyone else. One thing Cal does do though is he doesn't care whether a kid has a handler or a shady AAU coach, he'll take a kid and deal with whatever he has to as long as he signs the kid. Some coaches won't do that, two being Roy Williams and Coach K and what schools besides UNC, Duke and a few other can compete with UK's tradition and ability to get kids to the NBA, not many.

    Everybody knows college basketball is twice the problem college football will ever be in terms of illegal benefits to players

    Mainly cause its cheaper to pay 5 or 6 difference makers as opposed to 40-70 that you might need in football

    Hell even just one kid makes a huge difference in bball, and you think Coach Cal is all of sudden a clean straight shooter ? what on earth gives you this idea ? besides being a blind homer sucking idiot ?

    I'm not saying he doesn't cheat, just not as much as before. UK was built long before Cal, but no program ever had kids go to the NBA at the rate he is putting them in the NBA and the kids he is recruiting are all 1 and done. His record speaks for himself now more and he can honestly tell kids he will get them to the NBA as good as anyone.
