Yes I do mean by that. Sucks dude.

Self righteous dude right here, he obviously knows everything.

The first amendment is pretty basic, give it a read.

Except even then it shouldn't be illegal. Americans fight for the right so that other Americans can burn the flag. Based on your username, I'm assuming you did fight.

Thanks for that. You fought for freedom. And quite frankly, that's awesome. Fighting firsthand for freedom makes you a better man than me.

But if your definition of freedom is limited to the people you agree with, you've limited your sacrifice.

No, people have the right to burn the flag. As I stated, I also have the right to whoop their asses.

Incorrect. Westboro baptist church has proven time and time again that people who retaliate towards their actions still pay the price.

Why do you hate burning the flag so much?

I think the amendment has been shot down multiple times would be a more precise statement.

They should replace it with this one: if you believe in whatever you're protesting enough to burn a flag, then you should be man enough to stand there and physically fight for your cause (against people like USMCAG). If you aren't willing to do that, then you're probably just a whiny anti-American b*tch who's just looking to complain about something.

    Except you:

    1. Do not have a right to assault people who disagree with you.

    2. Do not have a right to enforce legal support of the US government. That's what make this government awesome.

Don't bother. Facts go in one ear and out the other with this guy.

  • its what the flag represents to some people that makes the issue so tough ; its like someone said earlier when they called USMCAG out on his comments about Pres Obama , you can respect the office but not it doesnt mean that you necessarily respect the man in the office shrug

The best way to convince people is not with insults, but with logic.

Remember when I first called you a troll? But you said I didn't even know you yet so I couldn't make that assumption at that time. Well I think the time has come. Seeing as you will never change my mind on how I view the flag just in the same way I could never change your mind about it. and you know what kind of answer you will get with that question.

And, quite frankly, if *insert poster here* was pro socialism - really the antithesis of capitalism and American foundings, they should also be aloud to speak and burn the flag based on those beliefs. The US was formed as a sanctuary for free thought. We should continue to adhere to the tolerance of beliefs that differ from ours.

What of this statement implies I'm trolling?

I'm a firm believer in peoples first amendment rights. It's as simple as that.

Sure, but if you won't fight for what you believe in, you're a p*ssy.

No I'm not. If my capitalism-based beliefs are correct, I will convince people with rational thought that I am correct. I won't need a gun to do so.

EDIT: By the way, it's worth noting that the political philosophy I subscribe to the most is Ayn Rands. Seriously, I'm more or less and objectivist. And I couldn't be more against Obama. But freedom still exists.

and we do , thats why this issue/ sentence will likely get overturned ; doesnt mean that one has to like the benefits of said freedoms especially when you are the one who is actually doing the fighting to protect those rights

I wouldn't fight anyone. I would listen to their argument. If their argument was false and I was in the minority, I would fight the majority for my freedom and nothing else.

Indeed. Hence why America freaking rules.

Seriously, no matter how much conservative people try to label me as someone who loves *non-America country here* I freaking LOVE the USA. It's awesome.

I am so lucky to be born in this awesome country.

The want or ability to fight for something doesn't lend credibility to the cause. It's the cause/belief/value in of itself that does.
