This. Of course all the libs hate that commercial, everything about America is bad...and for Dodge to celebrate white, rural and most likely...gasp...conservative people! Is something that Dadge should be ashamed of, the media will put them in their place tomorrow.

Haha. Y'all crack me up. It's all bullshit anyways. They're depicting a facade. There are almost zero small family farmers anymore. If they really wanted to depict American agriculture, it would have been cast tracts of agribusiness like ConAgra and Monsato.

Y'all just need to accept they are targeting people who get a hard on for anything that shines nostalgic Americana.

To roll_tide_55: why would they spend MILLIONS on a commercial during an event that is not targeted at all. If they wanted to target rural people, farmers etc. they would have ran it during a PBR event or the Outdoor channel or Duck Dynasty or a Mevraska football game.

Do you really believe what you type? That is a bold face lie... The majority of agriculture is made up by mom and pop farmers.

Centr Florida is full of farmers and almost all are family run farms.

  • I would say Dodge did a damn good job if they can get 4+ pages on TBB dedicated to their commercial.

I saw a ton more tweets about the Dodge commercial than any other commercial on twitter too.

Congrats OP Dodge just pwned you.

How much of the total farming industry is made up of family farmers vs. "big business" farms?

More family farms, but industrial farms probably have the greater output, by how much I don't know. Industrial farming is still extremely hard work though.

Who do you think grows the corn for the big companies you mentioned before? Farmers are still growing the crop and selling it to the companies. Just because a lot of it is run by a big company doesn't mean the crops grow themselves. The large companies just say what to plant and send people like me to help the farmers when needed.

There are still millions of farmers running machinery through the field 7 days a week sun up to sun down.

exactly, just because it is an "industrial farming" field doesn't mean the crop grows itself. There's still people that have to put in the work for the crop to grow. A lot of ignorance about how the ag industry works itt.

There isn't anything is there? In your mind everything pre 1960s America was bad, and even half the stuff since then. You desire for America to be less of what it is and more like everywhere else. Hence why flooding the country with immigrants is something that the left supports...it's like replacing bad America with the new better America in your eyes.

Well you see "industrial" makes it seem like people are making money...and you know that's not cool anymore.

  • Communists and Socialists have always had problems with farmers. From Stalin's war against the Kulak, which lead to the inefficient collectivization of USSR agriculture, to killing peasants in the Vendee the radical left has always tried to control and suppress farmers.

Independence of thought and production of is not seen as a good trait to a leftist. Much better to be poor, urbanized, and dependent. Those in such a condition are much more likely to listen to the enlightened spoiled children of the upper and middle classes.

You have to be the dumbest person with internet.

The Superbowl isn't targeted? First off that doesn't even make sense. The Superbowl reaches Millions of people. A large portion of those people include the demographic they were targeting. Football watchers usually aren't the wine and cheese crowd.
