  • I expect Lattimore to be the same as previous years this season, but either way I believe around 15-20th is a good range. Notice that he is the highest running back on the board. If a team needs a running back earlier then he would be the first to go IMO.

In the Big 10 CCG and tied for the most draft pics amongst Big 10 schools?

Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

  • Am I missing something on Logan Thomas? Granted I only watched him play a few times, but never once did even consider him a potential first rounder. He didnt even look like NFL material to me. I thought EJ looked better and thats not saying much

I fully expect the opposite. He'll be a lock top 10 pick next year IF he decides to leave.

Lock? Not so sure about that. He's a great player but I'm afraid the ole ball coach might run him in the ground before he makes it to the NFL.

The timing of his injury and his workload in college will definitely be brought up come draft time, IMO. Also, rb's are a lot less of a NEED in the NFL, as reflected in their salaries. They are a piece of meat with an expiration date.

Logan Thomas has almost the same measurables as Cam Newton..but he doesnt throw as accurate. Id say he could sneak into a late first round pick, because of his upside

I agree with this. The days of RBs going in the Top 5/10 are becoming less likely unless the guy is just a freak like Richardson. RBs have such a short shelf life and most teams are using at least 2-3 RBs regularly.

I agree with the Top 15-20, not Top 10.

I think the "SOS running him into the ground" argument is silly, though. He was injured by getting his leg buckled from the side. It's not like his hamstring tore on his 40th attempt of the game.

LSU's use of the running back is very similar. Impressive really, IMO.

  • Logan Thomas will be #1-2 if he improves any where close to the way he did last year.

    Dude started 1 year so far....but the NFL likes 6-6 : 245 : 4.6 40 : Big arm : high release : Smart : marketable:

Rock, you know we're cool but damn, there's a lot of fail here. Smh, FWIW I do think Gholston is a 1st rounder but I just don't see it out of Adams or Bell.

In response to a guy telling MSU to "know their place", I simply responded with where MSU ended up last season.

On a serious note, I don't think MSU gets 3 1st rounders next year, but I wouldn't be shocked to see 4-6 players drafted and MSU in competition for the division title.

So kicking your program's ass the past 4 years? Is that our place? Is sharing the Big Ten title in 2010 and winning the legends division in 2011 our place? Damn I love our place.

Logan Thomas? I saw him play several times last year... I'm not sure he's even draftable. He sucks.

    Kiper has him #2
    CBS sports #11
    Walterfootball.com #11

And you got him as undraftable?

  • Come on, even as a state fan its laughable to see those 3 in the top 25. If worthy couldn't go first round there's no chance adams or bell do. Still fun to see though.

They have a year to play still? To say there's no chance is stupid.

An undersized corner and a RB without breakaway speed? I drink the koolaid as much as the next guy but in this case I'll take my chances with looking stupid.

Just so you know the game winner you just posted Logan's stats for that game were:

    11 carries- 50 yards- 2 TD's
    23-25 passing- 310 yards- 3 TD's

He has only played QB for 3 years.. Kid is going to be good

Those 2 incompletions in the Miami game were a drop by Wilson, and a ball thrown away to avoid a sack.

I could see Gholston going even higher on that list, but I agree with Adams and Bell. Adams is undersized and I thought he gave up a couple of bad TDs last year. Bell is a beast at the college level, but he is a step slow of the pro game. He does have a killer spin move though.
