  • I just read where he is done for the season.

    That really sucks for him. I liked him and was looking forward to watching him play this year.

  • It has been reported that it was a compound fracture above the ankle (think Prothro). I don't know if it is true, but the biggest key if it was compound/open is preventing an infection. Then is it truly above the ankle or did it damage ankle joint/structure. In any case, I hope and pray that he has a successful recovery. I'd like to see him tote the rock for the Hogs again (just not so much against Bama).

    NarrionD knows what he is talking about and Knile was on track to be a 1st RD Draftee this year. God bless him and his recovery.

  • Wingo is the guy they would love it to be I am sure, but for all his athleticism and size, he has not come with a physical mindset up to this point. Maybe this is the type of wake up he needs to get it together and become the back they (everyone) thought he could be.

    No reason for a grown man to throw a hissy fit either. Throwing a tantrum just warms their hearts even more. And referencing Katrina, which is the United States' biggest natural disaster ever in retaliation for losing a RB for the season is just classless. Tons of people lost their lives and homes in Katrina, you lost a starting RB for a year. Once again, lighten up Francis.

    Sucks for Davis hopefully it isn't a career ending injury. I don't really care for Arkansas but did like him as a player. With that said it will put even more pressure on the new QB. I think he was going to be great with Davis helping him out but hopefully he won't have to carry the offense with Davis out now.

    I for one, think that Tyler Wilson's job just got a lot tougher and if I was an Arkansas fan, my confidence in him has just taken a hit. With Davis, he just had to make good decisions in the passing game. Now, he has to make plays. He is talented, but as I said, his job just got a lot tougher.

    It'll be tough, but it's not the end of the world. We have a very good back (Dennis Johnson) returning from a season ending injury last year. Also, supposedly Ronnie Wingo has made leaps at the RB position from last year. Only time will tell now...

    Haha, That's not why I got so angry. I got angry simply because someone being happy over an injury. Put it this way, I hate AU (no offense AU guys) but would NEVER wish down upon Dyer or any of their players.

    But yeah, it sucks losing Davis and will be VERY tough, if even possible, to replace him..

    Yea..groin injuries are like hamstrings, they can linger. Im sure he'll be fine but it's never good for a true frosh summer enrollee to miss reps/practices. Especially when you're starting with no RB depth.
