Tidepride very easy answer a basketball team has to fit perfectly like anything in life, you need players that play well together and don't get in each other's way. The 2004 NBA finals aka the five game sweep is the perfect example, LA had Kobe, Shaq, Malone, the glove 2 top 10 players off all-time vs. billups, rip, sheed, big ben and prince. The pistons were a perfect team with perfect chemistry and every 1 knew their role. Each player complimented the other perfectly leading to them destroying the team with more talent..

I get that, I really do. But damn. You've got 3 of the top players in the league. 60% of their starting 5 are future HOF'ers who don't play like they're past their prime. They should win on talent alone IMO only of course.

Nash isn't a top player in the league anymore. Hasn't been for some time.
KB is having one of his best seasons statistically, but not necessarily a good thing since some of his best numbers have come during when the Lakers were at their worst.
DH, lolgtfogfygb2FL.
Mike Antoni (No D) makes me want to slit my wrists. Still think he should coach college. Probably would still make as much as he currently does with the Lakers with a lot fewer games and much more control.

He was getting beat up in the press for not playing through it and being tough, then he gets beat up for playing and clearly not being 100%. But other than that, you're right. He's a mental midget that can't strive in LA, the biggest market in the NBA. Like someone else pointed out, a lot of injuries. And like someone else said, Nash is 39 and it's starting to really show. This team will get blown up after this season (except for Kobe of course.)

He was getting beat up because doctors cleared him to play, but he was too much of a pansy to get on the court.
Then he went out, and clearly didn't give even close to full effort. He's a giant baby. It was a mistake to aquire him. I'd trade him for Lopez and picks without thinking twice.

Trashing Dwight for being a pansey and you want Brook Lopez mr. I can't get more than 7 rebounds when i'm 7 feet tall, dudes soft as cottonelle tissue. D12 isn't even close to full strenght plus he's playing with a teammate he hates and he still leads the league in rebounds..

Not really.
He's the most athletic big man in the league. His year over year rebounding production is down significantly as well. Also he's about 8th or 9th in rebounding per 48m.
The sub 50% FT percentage which has declined almost every year he's been in the league tells me he's lazy and just doesn't put in the work.
