Hahaha, you obviously have no clue.
A fanboy is someone struggling to make a case that can't be made...like the OP hunting down some extraneous isolated factoid to try to imply that Kobe is on a par with MJ...because of a single bit of minutiae which is pretty much apropos of nothing.
But you guys keep digging for whatever puts your boy in the most favorable light possible, dim though it may be by comparison.
I'll admit it's a little entertaining watching people tilt at windmills

I'm just saying if we are going to compare, then compare season 1 to season 1, season 2 to season 2. Not age based comparison. Once again, age based comparison doesn't mean anything in this case. Maybe if we compared McGrady and Kobe or something...Lebron and kobe, but no with MJ

All I am saying is that when MJ was Lebron's age he hadn't accomplished anything. At age 27:
MJ:
5 playoff series wins
.453 playoff win percentage
1 MVP
0 Finals appearances
0 Finals MVPs
0 NBA ChampionshipsLebron:
15 playoff series wins
.626 playoff win percentage
3 MVPs
3 Finals appearances
1 Finals MVP
1 NBA ChampionshipFYI to answer your question about top 5 all time, I got MJ, Kobe, LBJ, Wilt, and Kareem in no particular order.

You make a solid case, but the flaw in the argument is the talent disparity from that time to now. And obviously Lebron had 3 more years to build those stats or gain experience to help him achieve those stats.

Well you do realize Lebron came straight out of high school as MJ played in College? I don't know why people always leave this out.. Lebron had a few extra years to get his first ring

All I am saying is 27 year old LBJ>>>27 year old MJ.
All that matters is what you have accomplished at whichever point in your career. Players typically play until they are 36-38. It doesn't matter if you come in at 18 or 22. It's not as if players are limited to X amount of years.
Apply this to the business world. Imagine two guys. One becomes a CEO of a company at 40, despite not going to business school first. The second one does get his MBA, but doesn't become a CEO until 44. Who is more successful at age 40?

Kobe at age 34 > MJ at age 34
