They may be different on a national scale, but the same none the less. Please answer my questions. Important how? Positive how? I have no problem with them being members if that is what the club wanted. I just think people are going to have a hard time with this with all of the pressure they got a few years back. If they weren't fighting (in the media) for the right to be members a few years back, it would seem there would be less backlash now with the ladies being admitted.

No. Not the same at all.
It's important because Augusta National's membership includes some of the most influential (economically, politically and socially) people in our country. I think it's positive that Augusta has recognized that women should be included into their membership.

Another great institution destroyed by liberal ideology. I guess if you are white and male you might as well just give up, there is no place for just us anymore. This is bulls***.

I'll answer your questions. 1- Yes 2- we could start a country club but not with the history, prestige and equivalent membership as Augusta
I'm sure when Augusta first opened, it didn't have the history and pestige that it does today. It was something that was received after years and years of being Augusta.
The women could do the same thing, it would just take some time to get the prestige and history. They just wanted it all right now instead of earning it the way Augusta did.
Still waiting on your answers though. Important how? Positive how?
