You're honestly having difficulty figuring that one out on your own?

I think he means the fact that women have their own groups, why can't men have theirs? I don't think he meant they were on the same scale, just the fact the ladies have groups, why can't men?

No, because there is no difference.

Could you and your buddies start an all male book club?

Could you and your buddies start an all male country club with the history, prestige and equivalent membership as Augusta?

Well, Curves/your local gym and Augusta are in no way the same thing. Not on any level.

They may be different on a national scale, but the same none the less. Please answer my questions. Important how? Positive how? I have no problem with them being members if that is what the club wanted. I just think people are going to have a hard time with this with all of the pressure they got a few years back. If they weren't fighting (in the media) for the right to be members a few years back, it would seem there would be less backlash now with the ladies being admitted.

No. Not the same at all.

It's important because Augusta National's membership includes some of the most influential (economically, politically and socially) people in our country. I think it's positive that Augusta has recognized that women should be included into their membership.

    I'll answer your questions.
    1- Yes
2- we could start a country club but not with the history, prestige and equivalent membership as Augusta

I'm sure when Augusta first opened, it didn't have the history and pestige that it does today. It was something that was received after years and years of being Augusta.

The women could do the same thing, it would just take some time to get the prestige and history. They just wanted it all right now instead of earning it the way Augusta did.

Still waiting on your answers though. Important how? Positive how?

Give me a break. So is every ethnicity, race, sex, and sexual orientation represented at Augusta? This PC bs has gotten out of hand.

Yeah. Women haven't earned it. Ok.

How does Augusta admitting women harm you? How is it a bad thing in any way?

I don't care one way or another. But, why are we giving kudos to an all male club letting in two women? Did they do something "right" by letting women in? Is there something wrong with having an all male club? Of course not.

Well this is what the liberals wanted you see and now that Augusta has capitulated the liberals can now sing their praises for seeing the light.

This has nothing to do with any involuntary pressure.

This was a choice, made privately with profit and power in thought.

What I'm saying is that the women can go build their own course. Work their way. Memberships (ladies only), tournaments and whatever else they want. Build their own prestige and history. Don't just bitch your way into a club that already has it.

Women at Augusta don't harm me. I already said this. I just don't like these politically correct people thinking everyone has to have everything this way or no way. I'm not saying that these women haven't earned anything, just maybe get your own course and earn it.

This is the result of liberal crap spewing over the years about how their selected groups should be allowed to go anywhere they want and after years of badgering Augusta they have finally got their way. Why can't the left just leave something, just one thing, alone? What is wrong with you people?
