New England didn't even make the playoffs when Cassel started the entire '08 season. Tom has only missed the playoffs once (2nd season) his entire career.

yea we missed the playoffs but we went 11-5

the Patriots are a TEAM...a guy goes down and the next man plays and wins

we make it to the Super Bowl every other year since 2001

Erroneous... They went 11-5 with a guy who wasn't even good enough to play a single snap in college.

Went 11-5 and no playoff, so not erroneous.

Agree and your talking to another huge Pats fan. Here's to hoping for another great run by the Pats.

You got 100% proof that all of that was true?

It doesnt matter when he got them..... he got them

Hypothetically, if he got them while aided by cheating... that kind of matters I'd say.

You missed the point and basically made lamps argument for him.

Lamp makes by point by saying QBR is the only thing that matters and Tom Brady leads in 3 out of 4 component made up of QBR; QBR doesn't account for Brady's rushing TD's..

Well Rodgers has the highest career regular season and playoff QB rating in NFL history, so if we are agreeing that that is the only stat that matters.

    Rodgers > Everyone

  • Anybody answered my question about why OP thinks that people are idiots for saying that Peyton deserved the All Pro designation for a single season and regular season award?

The shit you guys are pulling out about past accomplishments has no bearing whatsoever when it comes to All-Pro selections from year to year.

I still think it's close enough to be worth a discussion. Manning doesn't have the talent that Brady does to compliment him, BUT he (Brady) rarely had all his talent healthy at one time.

I'm not a big Manning fan or anything either. I think that AP should easily be the MVP of the league this year and have been saying that since about week 10 of the season.

I was talking about the All-Pro team Rodgers and MAnning both got more votes than Brady and I don't think either one of them is better..

    Wait,

You are talking about a team based on career numbers?

Well if Rodgers and Manning beat him out on a career based thing then you have a serious complaint. That would be fvcking idiotic. My whole premise was based on this being a singe season award being voted on. I mean Rodgers has only started about a year or two more years than Brady has been Super Bowls.

The 2012 all-pro team Rodgers and Manning received more votes than Brady which i feel is laughable, do you understand?

No because you are talking about a seasonal vote and keep bringing up shit that Brady did in his past. I don't think that it's that controversial. I wouldn't have a problem with any of the three getting the votes as long as it's based on this season alone. I honestly wouldn't have a problem with RGIII, Russell Wilson or Matt Ryan getting some votes as well for THIS season.

I'll admit that I haven't read the whole thread. I just saw that it was an all pro vote for the season and then saw that his past was brought on later. That is all I'm saying.

I have all the respect in the world for all three of the qb's listed. I wouldn't get in a tizzy over the voting. For this season, all of them are worthy of the mention. I will admit that I would have voted Brady over Rodgers for sure though this year.

Rodgers had the best year. He put up insane numbers again with a terrible offensive line, no running game and Nelson and Jennings injured for a good portion of the season.
