Yeah that sucks. What kind of plan did you have with them? I have a MMCP. Kickass coverage doesn't cost me anything except a low deductible and minimal copays. Heard decent things about United Healthcare.

At the time it was done.. about 3 years ago.. My father actually got the insurance for me.. Big mistake..

Not just dogs, animals. The worst I've ever encountered was a horse named Trudy, story linked below along with two photos I took of her. It takes a special human being to rescue animals, but horses are "my thing" so Trudy's story hit a little closer to home.
I eventually went to visit the rescue and didn't expect it but completely lost control of my emotions the first time I saw her. Even now, six years later, it's impossible to mention her and not tear up.
The cruelty it takes to do what was done to her is unfathomable and sickening. If there is a heaven there is a special place there for Cheryl Flannigan (the woman who runs that particular rescue) and people like her. On the other hand, hell is too good for those who make her work necessary.
