It certainly sounds that way. I hate co-offensive coordinators... it never seems to work. I understand that coaches use that title just to get certain assistants more money, but it just screams mediocrity at the coaching position.

Works out sometimes. I think Big 12 teams are the ones who use it the most.

Oklahoma has had co-OCs for the last couple of years. Baylor too, I believe.

Warner doesn't have much OC experience, Bollman does. Say what you want about his abilities as a playcaller, he has been a part of a very successful program for over a decade. I think he'll help with gameplanning and help coordinate the run game, but Warner is definitely the playcaller. He'll learn under Bollman's tutelage.

Furthermore, Bollman will assist Mark Staten with coaching the OL.

And Bollman will be the TE coach, a position that he coached in the NFL.

  • I never thought Dantonio would make such a bad move. As long as bollman doesn't call the plays, or offer any suggestions for that matter, you should be ok. Bollman is one of the worst recruiters out there, so hopefully Mork doesn't let him recruit much

Clearly did something right, otherwise JT wouldn't have kept him on for nearly a decade during their dominant run

He isn't as bad as OSU fans make him out to be, just like Roushar isn't as bad as we'd make him out to be. Both were good enough to get to a point where they were over their head -- Hopefully our new OC isn't there. And OSU fans, we're just not going to take your opinions seriously. You guys are turds.

Bollman was also in the same spot for like 8 years.. Roushar was in over his head after 2 seasons as OC

  • Tressel and Hazell were the offensive coordinators during the Tressel era. The only thing Bollman did was make the OL suck

Oh please, stop using that. He obviously had pics of Coach Tressel looking at emails.
