The guy doesn't even call the plays. Peyton runs the show. Just look at how crappy the beginning of the season was... that was before Peyton was given control. Unbelievable.

I remember people saying the same thing about Bill O'Brien last year.
I don't know much about McCoy, but I think there's a reason he's very highly regarded as the best coordinator name out there for HC positions. I think "Peyton calling the plays" is a very simplistic way of looking at it. He may or may not succeed, but I'd guess NFL teams know that Peyton runs the offense.
