LSU Should Be Crowned SEC Champs

  • Sound like what other conferences do... trying and weinie a way into the BCS, and therefore I am all against it. Sec's current success should be all that needs to be said about how the system works.

    Bama didn't ask anyone to be in this position... Bama didn't vote itself into this position... and there isn't a single team/fanbase that wouldn't give their left Lestical to be in the same position...

    You play the cards you are dealt. Bama and LSU are the 2 best teams in the country as chosen by the voter and the computer aggregate totals and based upon the current set up they will play in a rematch barring some really strange occurrence.

    Those who don't like it should either find a way to get a vote or just accept that it is what it is. Should it be different? There are a lot of scenarios that should work but at the end of the day if the two best teams in CFB don't play for the championship then there will still be a flaw.

    Life is not and never was promised to be fair or right or just or anything else... it is what it is and good or bad, again, you play the hand you are dealt...

Whats the point of having the system of divisional champs meeting in the conference championship if you just scrap it and annoint LSU the conference champ without earning it. In 03 OU was like LSU and was facing little old KSU and got murdered by them. You take LSU out of the game and it just throws the whole system in the trash and is unfair. Plus if GA wins it would further complicate the process. just doesnt make any sense whatsoever

    In most years I would be totaly opposed to a rematch of any kind . As an objective fan I have seen both teams play and I think they are the best 2 this year that I have seen and I don't see anybody on the horizon that has a shot @ taking Smell Ass U out in the top 10 But Bama . So for this year and this year only I say have at it.

    There's is coming!!! There are some powerful up and comers that are out there that are eventually going to knock them off.OSU,MICH,Texas,Oaklahoma,USC.Just to name a few.

    The way it is now, the talking heads are saying that LSU goes regardless of them winning or losing. Sooo, why should they play a meaningless game? Crown LSU as the SEC Regular Season Champs and let Bama play Ga for a divisional championship. If Bama wins, they will play LSU for all of the marbles. This is just a thought though, and we all know it will not happen, captain obvious. As an SEC fan, the SEC is guranted to win another BCSC this year, the way the system stands. And, the state of Alabama may have 3 in a row.

    They are not going to change it, genius. Just a thought on how it could work out smoother and create a bigger buzz for the SECC. They are going to leave it the way it is, and UGA is going to get pushed against a wall and get drilled by LSU. No one will care that UGA got smashed and the focus will return to BCSC. Then UA and LSU will play for the Natty. I will enjoy the Natty because the SEC recieves another title, and either the LSU or Bama contingent will rather be in hell after the game is over, works for me. I could not give a flying floppy disk less about which team and fan base gets crushed; however, I will enjoy it. Misery loves company.

  • Bingo they aren't going to change it it's doing exactly what it was designed to do put 1 vs 2 together and let them slug it out.
    LSU vs. Alabama 2 best in the country this year.It worked. And truth be known It's a better system than we had before and there will not ever be a playoff.The talking heads would have you believe there will be but that is wishful thinking.Even that system is flawed the best team doesn't alway's win on a given day just the best team that day does.

    I obviously know they're not going to change it, my comment was to show you why it was so obvious that they weren't going to change it. BCS is flawed. SEC sends teams to championship with the conference game. They will send two this year with the conference game. Why would they change? So standings can make sense to you? I'm pretty sure no one gives a f*ck about what makes sense.

    Thanks for your prediction. Given your insight last week, I wouldn't want to hear any other prediction than that from you.
