    I didn't say that. I think it really depends on the nature of the comment. Each is unique. I don't want to go back and look it up, but I believe it may have been russel Shepard who said more derogatory comments. And I know several said we didn't even deserve to be there.

    I think that you know I'm a Bama fan and I couldn't have given a fvck. Actually right after we lost Marquis Maze was quoted as saying that we were the better team, we beat ourselves, and if we played them again we would beat the hell out of them. In the end he was right, but players from both teams were talking smack. I don't see why either side should be offended by it. It happens ALL the time.

    He has a good point - I forgot the maze comment and I'd put that one in the unacceptable category. The real focus of my post was the fans, but you guys have only zeroed in on the one small part about the players.

    You can't get pissed at them for having to play us a second time when they knew how tough we were. In their mind, they had already hurdled that gauntlet and didn't feel that they should have had to play us again. It's not out an out of this world statement to make. When we lost, I was saying that if we didn't win our conference we didn't deserve a shot. Then everyone above us shat the bed.

    I'm honestly not trying to give you hell or anything FTWorthTide. I'm honestly just giving my opinion on smalk talk between teams.

    I see your point. I should've been more clear in my post. Bottom line - I just think LSU's coaches and players lack discipline, especially when compared to Alabama. I thought that came out in some of their comments, but even if you throw out the comments, I'd still say that their program is not run to the same standards as Alabama.

    To me it was the LSU players saying that we beat this tough a$$ team once and we don't feel that we should have to beat them again. They knew it wasn't going to be easy. I actually took it as a compliment but that's just me.

    I actually wasn't referring to that - I believe that's nothing but a big excuse. I think the whole structure of their program, from les miles' persona on down to the players', is flawed.

    No doubt they're great, but it has a whole lot more to do with raw talent than it does coaching.

    I get what you are saying but I think referencing your own teams motivation is different than disrespecting the other team.

    And with the amount of interviews before the game there are bound to be some quotes taken the wrong way.

    I mean she really got offended because Saban said he could get the number one safety and number three prospect in the country into the NFL. What fvcking nerve huh. I'm not going to kill his mother but she should be ashamed. She's an LSU fan but be happy for your son. Outside of a huge injury, he will.

    I mean I could be like the rest of our fanbase and be a delusional tard (with exceptions)

    Has their recruiting slipped? A little but they've lost a recruiter in the year in Porter and sit on a gold mine in talent.

    Dunno I think lots of LSU fans are just as douchey as UGA fans in that dawg fans bark at you and LSU fans chant 'tiger bait' at you.

    He just said Alabama planned to restore order. The natural order of things (historically) in the SEC has been Alabama as the flagship program. For much of this year, LSU was seen as the SECs flagship. Order needed to be restored - I think that comment had more to do with Alabama proving themselves than it did with putting down LSU.
