Same here. And they just said on SportsCenter that their source is Sports by Brooks.com

  • Wps is true for the 10th time.. LSU and Arky mods have confirmed inside both programs.. I think it's just leverage though

Unlike a lot of people, I dont necessarily buy his departure as a good thing for LSU. As retarded as ole Les appears to be at certain times, Saban is probably the only other LSU coach who won as much as the mad hatter has won

I seriouly can't believe I'm about to say this, but I agree. Les is much better than he gets credit for. He's cooky and wacky and does some crazy things but for the most part he's done a nice job. He's won a hell of alot of football games. And despite what some think LSU won't just keep running as is if they hire the wrong guy. That being said, if he goes, LSU will hire someone that's as good or better. JMO

  • Arkansas has effectively enacted a collective bargaining agreement for the entire SECw now.

You bet your bottom dollar Saban will not allow himself to be the 2nd highest paid coach in the SEC. He will want to be #1 and bama will sell their daughters to make it happen.

With this, all coaches in the SECw will likely get bumps in salary.

we all know lsu is one of those schools that recruits itself, im not saying any coach can jump in and run it (look at Tennessee) but i am saying i dont think les is good enough to cut it at most SEC programs. i think lsu has been doing what auburn did a few years ago and that is win despite the coach the only difference is miles is able to develop most of his talent, will give him credit for that....minus qb's that is

  • I think Les Miles is a great HC. If I was an Arky fan I would love the possibility of having him. For the Bama fans thinking he's bad at LSU... He's is 3-4 against Saban. He also has an 81% winning at LSU. He has never finished below 3rd in the SEC west.

Lets see if Alleva has the balls to call Miles bluff and say "Ok Les if you really want to go to a dumpster fire .... see ya"

Miles didnt choose his alma mater of LSU and I dont see a program like Arkansas as a place Miles wants to tarnish his legacy of a winning coach.

You guys better not let this happen. I am sure we can take up a collection to keep Miles there.

  • Arky thinks they're a big time school and can draw a big name coach. Not as sexy of a job as people think.

They're big time as far as money, but I agree that it is not the job that people are looking for at the end of the rainbow. No one would have even had it on their radar until Petrino, but I will admit that he proved that he could get them very close to winning majorly on a national scale.

No way Miles leaves LSU for anything other than maybe the NFL is he desires it one day which I doubt. Why would he?

He's there until he is run off or retires IMO.

lol we don't think we're some premiere school in all of college football... but we do think we can compete with the right coach. We have plenty of cash, statewide support, and awesome facilities. We just have to find a coach who is willing to compete in the SEC West against proven programs like Bama and LSU.
