They definitely brought their A game. They also had every advantage you could possibly want in a game of this magnitude. They got the night game at home with an extra week to prepare and the revenge factor on their side. Still wasn't good enough.

Agree it was a great one. It's arguable regarding the extent that LSU outplayed Bama. It could just as easily be argued that Miles' fake FG followed by the 54-yard att played a major role in the halftime lead. We were winning every stat battle...except the one that matters (blah). Anyway, great game and surprised polls thought that there are 7 teams between us and Bama...weird based in the football I saw yesterday.

This,,,, LSU had a very good chance to get a " mulligan " but they sh*t the bed against UF.
You don't normally get 2 chances.... But wait... Someone did a few years back didn't they?
Even after losing to UK???LSU fans have no room to talk.

Don't listen to some of our fans. It was an eerily similar outcome to last year as mentioned above. Sometimes the team that plays the best doesn't always win. You guys dominated us. I'm still not sure how our defense managed to get a couple big stops late given that you guys had the ball for almost 40 minutes. I don't think I have seen that happen to us in a long long time. But it was a hell of a game and I don't expect anything less when our teams lock up.

I'd say they dominated the 2nd half, but there were opportunities to stick it to them in the first half and we didn't. If AJ hits the bomb to Amari ... if, after going right down the field for a 90-plus yard TD drive and then forcing a 3 & out, we don't fumble a punt return ... if, leading 14-10 and going in we don't fumble inside the 10 ... so, I know LSU FEELS like they dominated the game, but they really didn't.
They did, however, do more than enough to win it. But they didn't. We made just enough plays in the 2nd half to win, obviously.

LSU still thinks they're the better team.
